National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

Ookami Kids is an approved registered provider under the NDIS for the following registration groups:

• Early Childhood Early Intervention Supports

• Therapeutic Supports

Medicare- Chronic Disease Management Plan

This program can be accessed through your general practitioner (GP) if you meet the criteria for having a ‘chronic’ condition that is likely to impact your child for over 6 months and there is a need for a multidisciplinary, team-based care from a GP and at least two other health professionals. Your GP is responsible for coordinating the care plan and is required to send out the referrals to the nominated health professionals. Under a Chronic Disease Management Plan your child is eligible for up to five subsidised individual therapy sessions at Ookami Kids per calendar year.

Private Health Insurance

Depending on your level and type of cover you may be able to claim rebates for occupational therapy, physiotherapy or speech pathology through your private health insurance. Please check with your insurance provider.
